About Sound Waves
Sound Waves, from Google's Chrome Music Lab, makes sound visible: play piano keys and watch a field of dots ripple exactly the way air molecules do. Low notes make big slow waves, high notes make small fast ones.
How to play Sound Waves
Tap or click the piano keys along the bottom and watch the wave field above react. Try the magnifier button to zoom into a single dancing dot, and compare deep keys against squeaky ones.
