About Micropolis
Micropolis is the actual original SimCity (1989), open-sourced by its creator Will Wright's team and running in your browser: zone neighborhoods, lay roads and power lines, balance the budget, and watch a living city grow — or learn hard lessons about traffic and taxes.
How to play Micropolis
Pick a map and press Play, then use the tool palette: zone residential, commercial and industrial land, connect everything with roads and power, and keep an eye on the budget and the citizens' complaints. Disasters optional but highly entertaining.
